Amelia is a marketing communications professional with 15 years of experience, with an expertise in event marketing and planning. She has planned events for both corporate and non-profit organizations and with that experience she brings creativity, an eye for details, and an ability to work within budget.

During her tenure at the League, she produced several events from launching a cit-wide weekly theater event, to opening a Hot Tix Booth off of Millennium Park, and providing event support for the annual gala. She was able to produce these events from development through implementation, and as such was required to work with either no budget or a limited budget, manage sponsors (such as Starbucks Coffee Company, the Chicago Sun-Times and WXRT), the Department of Cultural Affairs, the media as well as theaters large and small.

She is a team player who can navigate any environment and has a keen marketing sense, can read people and situations accurately. Plus, she will bring donuts to perk up the office.
